Spaghetti Cat has been making the Internet rounds lately, after having been used in place of expletives on Fox’s The Morning Show. Word on the street has it that Spaghetti Cat was a pet contest participant who got a little stage fright and choked when it was time to perform; a performance consisting of eating spaghetti with a fork. Now, I don’t know about your cats, but I have two and never in a million years would I consider them to have enough brain power to eat with a fork. Even if you combined their brain power I don’t think they could manage to eat with a fork!

If you haven’t seen the clip yet, you are really missing out. I’ll let our friends over at The Soup on E! explain as best they can. Really there is no explanation except that some TV producers were bored and thought they would share their inside joke with the world. And for that, I thank you. No one likes to be left out on a joke. It’s like that nightmare you have where you walk into a room where everyone is laughing, then one person turns and sees you walk in and then everyone stops laughing, and you know they were laughing at you and some inside joke that you’re never going to be cool enough to find out about.
