I’ll try and keep the marketing impact of this to our serious blogs (geek out at Reputation Watch if you want our take on this mess in the making), but since the video is fairly entertaining on it’s own merits it might as well be posted here.
Just the breif background: United Airlines broke this guy’s $3,500 guitar (while passengers witnessed) and refused to pay for the damages. Now, I don’t know if you sign away all your rights when you fly, but I’m sure no one is confused as to why some airlines are really hurting with this kind of customer service.

Wow, that really sucks. I guess their to powerfull to sue or something. I feel bad for this guy!
I still maintain that if you own a Taylor guitar, you carry it on – so that jack holes at the airline don’t break it. You shouldn’t be allowed to own a Taylor guitar if you aren’t half psychotic about the ownership and don’t let it out of your possession for fear of bad things happening to it.
