Angry Birds Slowly Taking Over The World – One Lego At A Time!

If you haven’t played it – you have yet to live! The more than slightly addicting Angry Birds app is utilized by more than one Anvil employee and apparently the Angry Bird phenomenon has reached Lego lengths. The moral of this story is actually the fact that Justin Biever himself can’t keep a straight face while trying to sing those ridiculous songs anymore. Tornados in Oregon, and the fall of the Bieb – i think this is the beginning of the end folks…

Top Twitter Pick-up Lines

One of the many perks of working online all day long is that every once in a while, you can find some true gems out there. And today was one of those days.

Now I just wish I was following someone on Twitter desperate enough to actually try to pick up a tweeting lady with some of these. I present to you, some of the best worst Twitter pick-up lines (to be used by a guy on a girl, because we all know any self-respecting lady doesn’t need cheesy lines)

  • Dude, I have the craziest story, but I can’t share it on Twitter. What’s your #, I’ll call you and tell you about it.
  • Before you ask, no I will not send nude pictures of myself. I don’t know you!
  • (in reply to her posting a cute cat picture) That cat’s adorable but nowhere near as cute mine. You should come check her out sometime.
  • (in reply to a drunk tweet) Whoa! Don’t Drink-n-Tweet. Not unless I’m there drinking and tweeting with you.

You can read the rest of them here- but honestly, it’s some of the worst online garage there is. Stick to e-harmony if you’re really trying to find love online.

The Muppets Return to Anvil on Failing

For some reason the Muppet Scat jokes have subsided around the office – the Muppet Scat twitter account might be stuck at 55 followers and the Facebook group hasn’t had an update since June. But here’s something to be thankful for this week – a new viral Muppet video!
